Express Entry – Labor Market Priorities

Eligible applicants must have a formal job offer from the Nova Scotia Health Authority or IWK Health Centre, commit to living and working in the province for at least two years, and receive an NSNP Letter of Interest via Express Entry. Applicants are expected to submit their application within thirty days of receiving the LOI and must demonstrate legal residency in their current country of residence.

Skilled Worker Stream

The Skilled Worker stream is employer-driven and is intended for foreign workers or recent graduates. Nova Scotian employers who cannot fill positions locally may sponsor skilled workers through this stream. Candidates require a full-time, permanent job offer, one year of relevant work experience (or six months for low- and semi-skilled roles), age between 21 and 55, a minimum high school education, and language proficiency in English or French. Occupations in Demand Stream
