The Bright Physio & Mindfulness Massage is a growing, client-centered clinic focused on high-quality wellness and rehabilitation services. We offer a calming, supportive environment and work collaboratively to help clients achieve better health and well-being. We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Massage Therapist<\/a> (RMT) to join our multidisciplinary team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Provide professional, client-focused therapeutic massage treatments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Recommend home-care strategies to support client progress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Uphold all ethical, professional and safety standards expected in Alberta.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manage your own schedule and caseload as an independent contractor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Qualifications & Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Massage Therapy Requirements in Alberta<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Applicants must meet the following standards typically required by recognized Alberta associations such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Massage Therapists Association of Alberta (MTAA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Alberta Massage Therapist Association (AMTA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Required<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Completion of a minimum 2,200-hour massage therapy diploma program from a recognized school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Must be a member in good standing with at least one recognized Alberta massage therapy association.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Must carry current professional liability insurance that meets association requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Must adhere to association standards, including:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Code of Ethics<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Standards of Practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Scope of Practice guidelines<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Continuing education requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Client confidentiality & privacy obligations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Informed consent procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Professional communication and safe treatment practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ability to issue insurance receipts as required by Alberta insurers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        General Clinical Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        • Strong therapeutic, assessment, and treatment skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Professional and reliable with a strong client-care mindset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • CPR\/First Aid certification (current).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Training in additional modalities is an asset (e.g., cupping, prenatal massage, hot stone, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
